Junior sailing is available for sailors 9 to 14 years old on Monday evenings from 4:30 until dusk at Crosswinds Boating Center on Jordan Lake. Younger sailors sail in the single-person Opti prams and older sailors are in the two-person 420s.  Coaches are always on the water in powerboats with the sailors.

Sailing in the fall of 2024 will start on September 9 and will end on October 28.  Cost for the spring season is $120 for the 8 weekly practices.

Sailors will need Coast Guard approved life jackets, preferably designed for sailing, close-toed water shoes, preferably NOT Crocs, and a water bottle.  In cooler weather, sailors may appreciate a wetsuit and neoprene booties.
